Westly and new auditors
The California Republican Party sent out a missive today criticizing Steve Westly's proposal that as governor he would hire more auditors, saying he still has open positions in his office as controller. Here's what Patrick Dorinson, GOP communications director, had to say: "Before Steve Westly proposes building an IRS-like army of additional auditors to pay for his proposals, he should concentrate on filling the 15 empty auditor positions currently advertised on the Controller's website. It seems he should first learn how to efficiently run his office before he asks Californians to elect him Governor." And if you are an auditor in need of employment, the link to the controller's office openings is here. |
