New League president
The California League of Cities has selected a new president to replace the outgoing Alex Padilla, who is expected to waltz into a state Senate seat in November. Pinole Mayor Maria Alegria, who previously served as first vice-president, will be the new president. Former second VP, Jim Madaffer of the San Diego city council becomes first VP and Sacramento Mayor Heather Fargo becomes the new second VP. |
