    All but the Guardian

Tucked into the AP story about Angelides' campaign this morning were two rough paragraphs:

Except for the weekly San Francisco Bay Guardian, every English-language newspaper that has offered an opinion has endorsed the governor.

On Sunday, La Opinion, the leading Spanish-language daily newspaper in the United States, endorsed Angelides and blasted Schwarzenegger for policies that "foster resentment against undocumented immigrants, feeding negative passions."

The governor made his views pretty clear on how he feels about mexican americans when he supported proposition 187,
I found it interesting now that he is running for re-election he says he is now sorry for supporting prop 187 as he was a bad idea.
Maybe the reason the governor changed his mind is he is trying to get as many votes as possible-regardless of whether or not he truly believes in anything.

Unless I'm mistaken, Angelides has also been endorsed by the Bay Area Reporter and the San Francisco Bay Guardian. I guess those English-language papers are outside the awareness zone of the Associated Press.
