Crisis in the Capitol?

Monday is a holiday, but staffers trying to do work from home this Friday just hit a roadblock: Blackberries are down. The Legislative Data Center just sent out the following alert to "All Senate Capitol Offices; All Senate Committee Offices; All Senate District Offices; All Senate Support Offices; Assemblywide - All Capitol Member Offices (AC01-AC80); Assemblywide - All Committee Offices; Assemblywide - All District Member Offices (AD01-AD80); Assemblywide - All Support Offices;"

SUBJECT: BLACKBERRY OUTAGE

Customers are reporting they are not receiving or able to send email from their Blackberries. The LDC is in contact with T-MOBILE support and is investigating the cause.
If you are sending email to someone who uses a Blackberry, you may want to contact them by phone instead.
Once this problem is resolved, we will send out an update.
If you have questions regarding this bulletin, please contact Customer Services.

The early reports are that there are no victims of the outage and that people are starting face to face interactions at unusually high volumes this Friday afternoon.
