    T-minus 4 days

    The deadline to get the bond package on the June ballot is Friday. The governor has announced that he is committed to trying to reach that deadline, but chances do not sound very high of reaching a global compromise agreement by Friday. It remains to be seen if particular segments of bond (like education) will be put on June's ballot, with the rest waiting until November.

    Reuters has the latest on the package, and an agreement between Don Perata and Fabian Nunez on the shape of the Legislative Democratic proposal.
